Hey all,

Well just how fast can 10 days go? I have been very busy but not with crafting...... I have been part of a wonderful team planning and running the 'Awesome' childrens holiday club at my local church, it was a huge success and thoroughly enjoyed by all. We are now planning for our funday and flower show this bank holiday weekend. Busy, Busy, Busy but I love it!

I have found the time to make a card albeit over 3 days! I took inspiration from the very talented Bev Rochester and made an easel card and I'm very pleased at my first attempt!.

The rubber stamp is the very cute Stephanie by Whipper Snapper designs and I've coloured her in with ProMarkers. The papers are by Dove Craft, K & Co and Paper Adventures. I treated myself to a small butterfly punch from Hobbycraft and the embellishments are from my stash. I designed and printed the sentiment using PowerPoint.

I'm entering my card for the latest challenge over at I Love ProMarkers which is 'an easel card', because I truly do love my ProMarkers!!

Just Magnolia and hAnglar sTanglar

Hi everyone,

My card for today is for the Just Magnolia and hAnglar sTanglar challenge blog, this week's challenge is 'Holiday Fun'. I'm also entering the Cupcake Craft Challenge and the theme is 'Stitching' and the Stamping Scrapping challenge which is 'Summer'.

I chose to use Tilda the Mermaid....... my thinking was mermaid-sea-seaside-holiday, I have stamped her using Memento Ink in Black Tuxedo available from Stamping Scrapping. Again I have used my Pro Markers to colour her in (could do with treating myself to Flex Markers......must sell some cards!) I added some glitter glue to Tilda's tail as I thought she deserved a little sparkle!

The papers are from Dovecraft and Sizzix, the flowers are Magnolia, Prima and I got the shiny one in a mixed bag from ebay. The sentiment is from a Pixie Affirmations set by PSX.

Peaches & Cream

Good evening everyone. My card for today has been entered in for 2 challenges, firstly over at the Lili of the valley challenge blog where the theme is 'Roses'..........Which actually is a cock up by me as it was actually last week's challenge DOH!!!!!. I've also entered the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday where the theme is 'Clean & Simple'.

The image I have used is by Lili of the valley and came as a Colour & Cut stack freebie from Papercraft & Inspirations magazine. I have used my Pro Markers to colour her in and glued on some tiny satin roses that I have had for many years and never used. The sentiment is also Lili of the valley. I have used Tangerine colourbox fluid chalk to give an edge to everything. The card is just plain peach from my stash. I love the square doily that I bought from The Doily Dealer.

........for delivering my new Sarah Kay stamp which is Elodie in her garden, which I bought from The Glitter Pot. I'm entering my card into today's challenge over at Stampavie & more and the theme is 'Girlie', I think we'd probably all agree that we enjoy making girlie cards the most!

I've coloured Elodie using Pro Markers with a little glitter glue used on the water. I don't have a die cutting machine yet so I've cut the ovals out myself. The sentiment is from Lili of the valley, the background paper is from a freebie pack by Kate Knight that came with the September issue of Card Making & Papercraft. The pink and white star paper is from Back to Basics by Dovecraft.

A very dear friend of mine is hosting a coffee morning and has kindly asked me to display my cards so this one has been added to the display collection.

Find Peace within

My creation today is for the challenge over at Stamp With Fun, which this week is make a tag. I've used a lovely image from Lili of the valley and have coloured it with Pro Markers.

I have used card from American Crafts Sixth Avenue range as the mat and the other gorgeous papers are 'quite contrary' from My Mind's Eye. The lace edge is a sticker from Lakeland. The flourish and butterfly were both die cut from white card which i've coloured using my Pro Markers. I've added tiny gem stones and a pearl to finish the butterfly off. I typed the sentiment on the computer and finally the ribbon is from Ribbon Oasis.

Box Room Crafter is back!!

Hi everyone, I hope you are enjoying the weekend, I was able to go to my local church today with hubby and the kids for the first time in a month (still recovering from surgery). It was such a lovely all age worship service and my daughter Evie did an amazing job reading from the Bible, I'm so proud of her :)

So here is my card and it is for the Cutie Sunday challenge which this week is 'Flower Power', the papers I have used are all from Nitwits, if you haven't paid them a visit yet then you must as they are to die for!!

The stamp is Tilda with watering can which I got from Sir Stamp a lot, I have coloured her using my Pro Markers which are my new best friend!

I bought the flourishes and flat back pearls from ebay and I coloured them in with Pro Markers to match the rest of the card. The flowers are Prima Flowers finished off with gem stone brads. The photo corners are a Quickuts die that I managed to find on ebay. Last but by no means least the lovely circle sentiment is from Lili of the valley. The photo isnt the best i'm affraid!

Well Hello!

After a long absence from Blog Land (2 years!!!!!!!!) I feel in a better place and have found my crafting mojo has returned. I've gradually been making cards and hangy things and I feel ready to re-launch my blog and start joining in the fab weekly challenges that are on offer. I'm hoping to officially launch again next week so please watch this space!
