Passion for ProMarkers

I stumbled accross a challenge blog this morning called Passion for ProMarkers, their theme this week is One for the ladies.

I made this card for my Mum for Mother's Day:-

 

 

I love this Tilda stamp from Magnolia she is sooooo cute.  I have coloured her in using ProMarkers and have added Stickles to her shoes and the roses.  The papers are DCWV The Linen Closet Matstack.  The lace is vintage from my Grandma's (RIP) sewing box.  The flowers are Prima and the pearls and gems are from eBay.  The corners are Quickutz.

CASology

I have two cards for today neither of which are my usual style.  I am entering both for this weeks CASology challenge and the theme is Circle.  My Daughter Evie loves this challenge blog and takes part every week.

 

This stamp set is one of the very first that I bought many moons ago.  It is called Shasta Daisy CN135 and Happy Birthday Frame QN004 which are part of Stampendous' Wild Flower Nestling range.  I've coloured the daisy in to be a sunflower using ProMarkers and stuck a vintage button in the centre which came from my Grandma's (RIP) sewing box.  I've edged the card using Fluid Chalk in Bisque.

My second card was a bit of an experiment.......I certainly need to practise with the sewing machine!!!  The papers were a freebie from a magazine and the eyes were printed from my PC.

Apologies for the bad photo quality

I made this card for a lovely friend who's going through a rough time,  she has red hair and always wears red, black and white and her house is decorated red, black and white too.

It also fits in with a couple challenges, the first is I Love ProMarkers where the theme is Love is all around and the second is Ribbon Girl's Magnolia Only ribbon or lace.

CASology & Crafts 4 Eternity

My card for today is for 2 challenges, firstly for CASology where this week's theme is 'Drink'.  As i don't have any cup/glass/bottle stamps I went for the idea of giving flowers a drink.  The other challenge I'm entering is this week's Crafts 4 Eternity challenge of Tic Tac Toe. 

I went for the option of Sketch, Ribbon and Flowers.  I took inspiration from Sketch #50 from Crafts 4 Eternity.

 

 

I have chosen to use a Sarah Kay stamp coloured in using ProMarkers and Stickles for the water.  The ribbon is from Ribbon Girl and the pearl heart ribbon slider is from my local craft shop.  The roses are from eBay and the leaves are a Papermania punch.  The papers are freebies from a stack that came with a craft magazine.  The sentiment stamped onto the ribbon is from PSX.

Lattice window card

I was so pleased that my card had been chosen as one of the judges favourites at Colour Throwdown last week :D

Just take a look at these gorgeous colours.....they are for the latest challenge at Colour Throwdown.
It was a good excuse to go to the craft shop and buy some more ProMarkers!!  :)  I'm also joining in with the latest challenge from I Love ProMarkers which this week is 'Anything goes'.

I bought the lattice window card blanks from eBay many years ago and suddenly remembered I had some left.  I have used Morsels tiny flower and leaf stamps from Sugar Loaf Products.  I used my Promarkers to ink them up.  I placed 4mm self adhesive flat backed pearls in the centre of each of the plum coloured flowers.  On the inside, Tilda from Magnolia is coloured in using Promarkers and Stickles on her wings, then cut out and glued in place.  The sentiment is by Docrafts and again I used a Promarker to ink it up.

To my Husband with love...

This card is a little different to my usual style but i'm really pleased with how it turned out.  I know it's a bit early but it's for my Husband for Valentine's Day.

For the layout I took inspiration from the latest sketch from Mojo Monday and rotated it 90 degrees.  It also fits in with Crafts 4 Eternity's latest challenge with is "Punch it".

 

 

 

I used my new Die-namics Mini Royal Rose die which I love and shall be using a lot more.  The leaves are a Woodware punch.  The frames are X-cut nesting dies.  I created the sentiment on my PC and the heart stamp which I stamped, masked and stamped again is from Fancy Pants.

CASology

Hi all,

I came across another challenge blog that I liked the look of.......... CASology.

This weeks challenge was to use Blue so here is my creation. 

 

Apologies for the poor quality photo's, I really struggled to pick up the colours of the pearlescent paper.

I've coloured Edwin in with ProMarkers and used stickles on his wings.  I've used Xcut die cuts, buttons and diamantes from ebay, car punch,  and for the first time ever I've used a sewing machine as I love this look on other people's creations.  I still need some practice but am very greatful to my friend Lisa for lending me her machine to have a play with.
