Guest Designer - Tilda & Co - A gift

I really enjoyed Guest Designing for Tilda & Co this week as we all had a lovely pack of craft goodies sent to us to use on this week's challenge which was to make a gift for someone.

I made a coaster with a coordinating box for my very special friend Shirley who is so generous with her love and support, she really is the nicest person you could ever wish to meet.

The papers I have used are K&Co and were in my pack of goodies from the lovely Donna, as was the ribbon and very pretty little dimante ribbon slider. I added some Bazzill Bling cardstock.

I've paper pieced Tilda's clothes and I coloured the bench in using Tim Holtz distress ink with a baby wipe and cut it down to fit into the coaster.

Guest Designer - Tilda & Co - Sketch

Hope you are all well, I've had a busy week as it was Rowan's 1st Birthday on Wednesday and we had a lovely party for him yesterday and today the poor little man has started with chicken pox :-(

I have been asked to Guest Design for Tilda & Co again this week and the challenge is a sketch this time so hop on over to their blog and check out the sketch,

I made a card for my dear friend Marie's daughter, I've paper pieced Tilda's clothes and used H2O's on the rest of her. The patterned paper is Me & My BIG Ideas and I've also used Bazzill cardstock. The flowers are Prima and the brad is Lakeland. The cerise ribbon is just from my stash.

Guest Designer - Tilda & Co. - Swirls

I hope you are all enjoying the fabulous sunny weather today, we have just had a barbecue and Rowan fed himself........ needless to say he was covered head to toe in food!

I am guest designing for Tilda & Co this week and the challenge is 'Swirls'. I chose to make a wedding card using pink and silver swirl paper by Paper Adventures, I coloured Party Tilda and Party Edwin to look like bride and groom using H2O's, the flower and brad are Bazzill Bling, and the ribbon was from ebay. I hand cut the tag and the stamp is by Katie & Co. The two names are made from individual letter stamps by Purple Onion.

My Paper World Sketch - Baby Boy card

I have used Nicola's fab sketch at My Paper World to make this new baby card for my great friend Marie who gave birth to baby Luke Joseph just before I went on holiday.

I've coloured the Magnolia image using H2O's and added some glitter glue for the wings, I've used Bazzill card and Me & My Big Ideas spotty paper. The gingham brad was in a craft kit and the sentiment is a sticker from Bo Bunny Press.

Evie's 4th birthday

It was Evie's birthday whilst we were away and this is the card I made for her........ the first thing she said when she opened it was "well that doesn't look like me" lol.

The stamp is Stephanie by Whipper Snapper but I masked off the flowers and replaced them with balloons. I've paper pieced her outfit and shoes and painted her face, body and hair with H2O's. The spotty paper is Me & My Big Ideas, I can't remember who the bubble paper is by, the ribbon is Ribbon Oasis, the flowers are Prima finished off with a Lakeland brad.

Happy Bank Holiday Monday

Hope you have all had a lovely day despite the weather being horrible! We got back yesterday from a brilliant holiday in Ilfracombe, N. Devon. The weather was great and we all came back a nice colour and we packed so much in...... one of my highlights was handfeeding baby ring tailed lemurs........ they were so cute and climbed all over us!

I made this card before I went away for a friend at work, I've coloured Tilda in using H2Os and I've paper pieced her dress, the papers are all Laura Ashley the flower is Prima and the sentiment is Purple Onion.

The background paper is BG Scarlet's Letter, the stick on letters are American Crafts, the gorgeous large brads are Making Memories, the spotty ribbon is Ribbon Oasis and the plain ribbons are from my stash.
